Big Dipper - 60 Second Exposure

Compare the Big Dipper on a moonless night to this photo. Light pollution really limits the amount of stars you can see. Quite a site. Just imagine how the skys looked before the light bulb was invented. It must have been amazing. Without the Big Dipper, it would be very difficult to find the North Star as it's only the 32nd brightest stat. I really think God had lots to do with the design of constellations. Imagine sailing the oceans without stars before the compass was invented.
