La Jolla Shores

A dozen families met for a day at the beach. It ended up being one of the best beach days ever with perfect weather, sun, snorkeling conditions, fun kayaking, countless leopard sharks and best of all, great company.

La Jolla Shores is one of the best family beaches anywhere and absolutely beautiful. The shallow water makes launching kayaks very easy and perfect for kids to swim and boogie board in. No rip-tides and a very flat beach, so safe for kids.
